Honor's 'Lightning' Robot Dominates Top 6 in Yizhuang Half Marathon, Autonomous Navigation Time Beats Human World Record
Honor's 'Lightning' robot recently shined at the Yizhuang Robot Half Marathon, taking the top six positions. Among them, the Qitian Dasheng, Leiting Lightning, and Xinghuo Liaoyuan teams won first, second, and third places with times of 50:26, 50:56, and 53:01 respectively—all beating the human half-marathon world record of 56:42. These participating robots all use autonomous navigation technology, demonstrating strong athletic performance.
Fang Fei, President of Honor's Product Line, stated that this achievement stems from years of deep technical accumulation. Technologies like liquid cooling and precision structures developed by Honor, though not originally for robots, have been successfully migrated to the robot system. While other robots still rely on ice packs for cooling, 'Lightning' already uses liquid cooling—this is the result of persistent independent research. Fang Fei emphasized that this is not a simple cross-border move, but a natural migration of technology after reaching a certain stage.
