Huawei Pura X Max Foldable Phone First to Feature Xiaoyi Companion AI, Offering Proactive Smart Services

Huawei Terminal officially announced that the industry's first horizontal wide-foldable phone, Huawei Pura X Max, will be equipped with the new Xiaoyi Companion AI, focusing on 'understanding your thoughts, meeting your needs, and accompanying you in perfect harmony'. This is Huawei's first launch of this AI service on a device, expected to debut with the Pura X Max.

Xiaoyi Companion AI supports features like smart to-do (recognize screen info to add to to-do list/calendar), travel assistant (route planning, flight inquiry, etc.), global to-do (auto-organize tasks), smart reading (content summary, mind map generation), topic recommendation, and global voice interaction.

This AI belongs to the HarmonyOS 6.1 version. Currently adapted to some apps, it requires subsequent HOTA updates and internet connection to use. After enabling, it can be activated by double-clicking the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
