Kimi now works with Gmail and Google Calendar
AI assistants are racing to connect with more external tools, as companies keep expanding their service ecosystems.
Moonshot AI announced that Kimi now works with Google's Gmail, Google Drive, and Calendar. Users can turn these on from the Plugins page. Once enabled, Kimi can sum up Gmail email threads, find files in Google Drive, and help plan daily schedules with Google Calendar.
The company said all actions go through OAuth authorization. This lets users grant access without sharing passwords, keeping the connection safe.
Plugins are add-ons that connect Kimi to outside tools and services. They let the AI call on third-party features or run tasks automatically, making it more useful in daily work.
