Meta acquires AI coding startup Conductor

Meta has acquired AI coding startup Conductor, but the deal details remain undisclosed. Founder Charlie Holtz announced the company is joining Meta, saying he looks forward to working with Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang and Superintelligence Labs product lead Nat Friedman. New products are coming in early next year.

Founded in 2024, Conductor lets engineers deploy AI agents across multiple parallel workspaces and run several software projects at once. Its agents come from labs like Anthropic and OpenAI. The cloud service will shut down on November 20 and user data stored there will be deleted.

Meta has been pushing hard on AI lately. It launched its own coding agent Muse Code in August, and its Muse series agents now have over 10 million users. Over the past year, Meta has also bought companies like AI agent social platform Moltbook.
