Meta announces up to $95 billion financing plan for its AI push
Meta has announced a financing plan of up to $95 billion to support its core business and growing AI work. The plan includes $22.5 billion in forward sales of Class A common stock, $12.5 billion in mandatory convertible preferred stock, and up to $60 billion in potential Class C common stock issued at market price.
NVIDIA, AMD, and Broadcom all plan to buy up to $5 billion of Meta's Class A shares each. This move ties chip makers more closely to AI infrastructure buildout.
Meta said its AI investments have paid off through higher user engagement, better ad results, and stronger profits. The company expects capital spending of $135 to $145 billion in 2026, funded through a balanced mix of operating cash flow, investment-grade debt, strategic partnerships, and equity capital.
