Microsoft manages AI agents like employees, launches Agent 365 toolkit

Microsoft is using a lot of AI agents and is now managing them like employees. CEO Satya Nadella says the company is setting up tools and policies to give each AI agent an identity, access limits, and audit trails. He personally runs 100 coding agents at once and finds it very hard to manage. To fix this, Microsoft launched the Agent 365 toolkit, which includes Entra for digital identity and Purview to label data from AI agents, aiming to build trust through security and observability.
