Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang: AI Era Has Arrived, Vera Rubin Chip Will Be More Successful Than Blackwell
At Computex 2026 in Taipei, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the era of "useful AI" has arrived. Tokens are now profit units, and AI is a GDP generator. He stressed that AI hasn't cut jobs—it's actually led to more software engineers being hired.
Huang introduced Nvidia's next-gen super AI chip, Vera Rubin, calling it the company's most ambitious product, developed by 40,000 engineers. The chip will launch in the second half of 2026, with first deliveries in Q3 and faster ramp-up in Q4.
Huang noted that more frontier model companies this year are driving Nvidia's fast-growing share in the inference market. He believes every frontier model firm will choose Vera Rubin from the start, unlike Blackwell. So Vera Rubin is off to a strong start and will definitely be more successful than Grace Blackwell.
