OpenAI Adds Team Collaboration to ChatGPT Sites

OpenAI announced a new "Build Together" feature for ChatGPT Sites, letting users invite others to work on the same website or web app. Previously, the tool was mainly for single users, and only one person could edit and publish a project by default.

With the update, users can send invites to others, who can quickly edit, save, and publish Site content. Users can also set projects to fully private and allow access only to specific people, making it easier for teams to run internal tests before a public launch.

ChatGPT now supports viewing databases connected to a Site and binding custom domains, so shared websites are no longer limited to ChatGPT's generic URLs. OpenAI also improved response speed, saying the time from entering a prompt to deploying a Site has been cut by about half.
