Phison and Intel team up to run large AI models with just 16GB RAM
Phison announced a partnership with Intel to improve local AI performance on AI PCs using its Pascari aiDAPTIV memory technology. It now works with Intel's 3rd-gen Core Ultra processors and OpenVINO toolkit.
The aiDAPTIV technology expands AI working memory from system DRAM to high-performance NAND via Cache Memory. In tests, it ran a 26-billion-parameter AI model with just 16GB of DRAM, compared to 32GB needed without it.
