Qualcomm unveils Dragonwing IQ10 robot design with 700 TOPS AI power
Qualcomm launched the Dragonwing IQ10 Robot Reference Design (RRD) ahead of COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei. This is a complete kit for building AI robots with sensors, ready for mass production. It combines computing, sensing, networking, and software to help teams move faster from prototypes to real products. The design uses the IQ10 processor, delivering 700 TOPS of AI power, and supports up to 12 GMSL2 cameras, plus lidar, ToF sensors, and IMUs. It works in temperatures from -40°C to 70°C, has forced air cooling, and runs on 12V or 24V power. Qualcomm also provides full software support, including AI runtime, tools, and cloud-based lifecycle management via its AI Hub. The Dragonwing brand, launched in February 2025, focuses on industrial IoT and networking solutions. This new design builds on earlier Qualcomm robot platforms like RB5 and RB6, strengthening its edge AI and low-power computing lineup.
