Qwen 3.6 Plus Preview Launches on OpenRouter: 1M Context Window, Limited-Time Free Access

Model aggregation platform OpenRouter has launched the free preview version of Qwen 3.6 Plus Preview, which supports a 1 million token context window with zero cost for input and output per million tokens.

According to the platform, this is an early preview of the Qwen flagship model, focusing on enhancing Agent programming, frontend coding, and general reasoning capabilities, positioned as a more stable successor to Qwen3.5-Plus.

The platform notes that prompts and completions from users during the free period will be collected for model improvement; it also clarifies that the model is not a visual language model currently.
