Robinhood launches AI agent trading, lets you auto-trade stocks
US online broker Robinhood launched on May 27 a new feature called Agentic Trading, letting users connect third-party AI agents to trade stocks automatically. You can open a separate account, and the agent only uses that money. Every trade sends a notification, and you can disconnect anytime. The AI can customize strategies: long-term investors can rebalance portfolios, thematic investors can build and monitor a themed portfolio, and active traders can backtest mean-reversion strategies. Robinhood also introduced an Agentic Credit Card, where the AI scans e-commerce sites for deals, with limits and manual approval options.
