Shenzhen's First Humanoid Robot Pilot Production Line Goes Operational, Helping Solve Mass Production Challenges
The pilot production line of Leju Robotics in Longhua, Shenzhen, has recently been officially put into operation. As a buffer zone between R&D and mass production, this line will establish standardized operating procedures for future large-scale production.
Cao Yu, assistant vice president of Leju Robotics, stated that the pilot line mainly solves the transition problem from 1 to 100 in mass production, verifying process stability and reliability, and reducing issues like inability to produce, unstable production, and high costs in subsequent batch production. The Roban 2 robot is undergoing small-batch trial production here, and Kuafu 5 entered mass production after 4-5 months of pilot polishing. The line is also equipped with an MES digital management system to ensure quality traceability and process reproducibility.
Currently, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has basically achieved a closed loop in humanoid robot manufacturing, with the localization rate of Kuafu robot complete machines exceeding 95%.
