Star AI Company Anthropic Negotiates New Funding Round, Targeting Pre-money Valuation Over $900 Billion

Star AI company Anthropic is in initial talks with investors for a new funding round. The round aims to raise $300 billion at a pre-money valuation of over $900 billion, which would be its largest funding round to date. Insiders say the deal could close as early as the end of this month.

Anthropic completed a $300 billion Series G funding round in February this year with a post-money valuation of $3800 billion; later, it received a total of $150 billion in investment commitments from Google and Amazon at the same valuation. The company plans to go public later this year and is raising funds to cover ongoing high computing power costs.
