Tencent Video to Launch AI-Generated Long Dramas, Full AI-Produced Content Expected in Q3

The 13th China Online Audio-Visual Conference was held in Chengdu. Tencent Video announced it will launch AI-generated long dramas. In the AI era, content supply may grow 10 to 100 times, but audience attention hasn't increased accordingly. Most current AI videos are 2-3 minute short clips, while Tencent is using full AI workflow to make 10+ episode dramas and 90-minute films, expected to release in Q3. Additionally, Tencent Video will transform: open AI production toolchain, explore native AI long content, reform revenue sharing mechanism, open IP assets to let small creative teams benefit continuously with more co-creation freedom.
