Unitree Technology's H1 Fine-tuned Version to Participate in Beijing Humanoid Robot Half Marathon with Best Training Time Over 50 Minutes
Wondering how fast a humanoid robot can run? Unitree Technology's H1 robot is about to give an answer. The company confirmed it will send the 2023 H1 fine-tuned version to participate in the Beijing Humanoid Robot Half Marathon on April 19, challenging its own performance limits.
According to internal test data, H1 achieved a best training time of over 50 minutes for the half marathon, with speed soaring from over 5m/s in late February to 10m/s in April, showing rapid iteration. Notably, H1 won multiple championships at the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games, and founder Wang Xingxing said it will run the 100-meter dash in under 10 seconds this year.
The race track is 21.0975 km long, including various terrains. Rules encourage autonomous navigation (remote control results are weighted), which will fully test the robot's movement and navigation capabilities.
