Wonder Launches AI Tool Wonder Create: Launch a Virtual Restaurant Brand in One Minute

Veteran e-commerce entrepreneur and former Walmart e-commerce CEO Mark Lore plans to deeply integrate AI into his existing startup Wonder with a new tool called Wonder Create. Using this tool, anyone (including food entrepreneurs and social media influencers) can design and launch their own virtual restaurant brand in one minute.

Wonder is a vertically integrated food and delivery platform that evolved from food trucks to fast-casual restaurant formats. Its stores are "programmable cooking platforms": robot-equipped all-electric kitchens can switch between 25 cuisines, multiple brands share kitchen infrastructure, and there's a library of 700 ingredients. Next year, it will also launch an "infinite sauce machine" that can make about 80% of the sauces from online recipes.

Wonder Create works like a Shopify front-end with AI prompts: input the type of restaurant, and AI generates the name, brand, menu, pricing, etc., in one minute. Users can adjust the prompts, and once confirmed, the restaurant goes live at all Wonder locations, helping users test food and brand ideas at low cost.
