World's First 'Six-in-One' AI Orthopedic Surgery Robot ROPA6 Approved for Launch in China

Recently, ROPA6, an AI-powered orthopedic surgery robot independently developed by Changmugu, a company in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, obtained the Class III medical device registration certificate from China's National Medical Products Administration and was officially approved for launch in China. As the world's first AI+ orthopedic surgery robot platform registered in an integrated form, it supports six surgical procedures including hip, knee, and spine surgeries.

ROPA6 integrates an AI intelligent surgical planning system, a high-degree-of-freedom robotic arm, and high-precision navigation equipment. Preoperatively, it completes 3D reconstruction of CT data and scheme design in 5-10 minutes. Intraoperatively, it achieves sub-millimeter precision positioning and osteotomy, reducing human operation errors and improving surgical accuracy and efficiency.
