Xiaomi Auto Patent Dispute Resolved: Yanlu New Energy Apologizes and Withdraws Invalidation Request

Shandong Yanlu New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. recently issued a statement apologizing for the patent dispute with Xiaomi Auto. The statement acknowledges Xiaomi's ownership of relevant design patents, states that it has stopped using the parts involved in the patent dispute, and withdrew the patent invalidation request on March 25, 2026. It will cooperate with Xiaomi to avoid misunderstandings in the future.

Earlier, Yanlu New Energy had filed invalidation requests against three appearance patents (rear bumper, front bumper, front headlight) used in Xiaomi Auto's SU7 model, and Xiaomi had taken the lead in suing it for infringement. Currently, all three patents remain valid, and both parties have reached a settlement.
