Xiaomi launches MiMo Desktop app for invited testing

Xiaomi has announced the open beta of MiMo Desktop, an AI app for real work scenarios. Users can apply to try two preview models (MiMo-X-Pro-Preview and MiMo-X-Flash-Preview) for free for a limited time.

The app can read tables, images, videos, PDFs, recordings, and archives directly from prompts without format conversion, and generates editable outputs. It also creates full preview interfaces with component layouts, interaction logic, and data visuals, letting users interact and modify in the chat.

MiMo Desktop automatically picks the best model or agent for each task, balancing quality, speed, and cost. It can also control a web browser to open pages, search, fill forms, and extract information, which is used directly in the current task to save time.
