Xiaomi OpenClaw Closed Test Adds 6 New Models, Exclusive to Tech Enthusiasts

Xiaomi recently updated the list of devices eligible for the OpenClaw closed test, adding 6 new models including the REDMI K80 series and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro. The current test list covers 18 devices such as the Xiaomi 17 series, REDMI K90 series, and multiple tablets—non-listed devices cannot participate.

As a technical exploration project, OpenClaw is still optimizing stability, power consumption, and performance in complex scenarios. It is only open to small-scale testing for tech enthusiasts and geeks. Xiaomi does not recommend regular users upgrade their main devices to avoid affecting daily use.

Officials advise test users to back up data in advance and experience it in a controlled environment. The project uses an invitation code mechanism; users who get access will receive a specific system push and need to upgrade to use OpenClaw features.
