AI Face Swapping, Voice Cloning Infringements Surge; China Radio and Television Association Actors Committee Issues Stern Statement

Recently, infringements like AI face swapping synthesis, voice cloning replication, arbitrary tampering of film and television materials, and unauthorized use of actors' images/audio for AI model training have become frequent. These acts seriously violate the legitimate rights of performing arts practitioners and disrupt the normal order of the audio-visual industry.

To regulate industry development, uphold legal boundaries, and strengthen rights protection, the Actors Committee of the China Radio and Television Association issued a stern statement today, explicitly opposing all AI-related infringements that harm the rights of performing arts personnel.
