Alibaba Qianwen App Launches Wanxiang 2.7 Video Model—Edit, Extend, and Imitate Actions with Just a Few Words

Alibaba's Qianwen App recently launched the Wanxiang 2.7 video generation model, offering three core functions: video editing, video extension, and action imitation. Users can easily create or modify videos with just a few sentences.

The video editing feature supports adding characters, changing backgrounds, adjusting styles (like animation or 3D), modifying character actions, expressions and lines while keeping lip movements natural. Video extension can lengthen a 2-second clip to 15 seconds, with smooth transitions ensured by adjusting start and end frames. Action imitation can replicate character actions and camera movements from reference videos.

Additionally, the unified image generation and editing model Wan2.7-image is also available, enabling precise visual element editing, multi-person poster creation, and portrait enhancement.
