Shanghai Releases 'Game Shanghai Ten Measures' to Support AI and Blockchain R&D in Game and E-sports Enterprises

Shanghai officially issued the 'Several Measures of Shanghai Municipality on Supporting the Development of Game and E-sports Industry' (referred to as 'Game Shanghai Ten Measures'). It clearly supports game and e-sports enterprises in R&D and application of technologies such as AI large models, blockchain, big data, cloud computing, as well as basic tools like game development engines and 3D modeling software.

The policy also proposes to promote the application of blockchain technology in copyright registration, rights protection and other fields, and encourage cooperation between game enterprises and electronic device manufacturers to explore multi-terminal development, helping the industry transform from content production to technology R&D.
